How can therapy help with addiction?
Addiction and Compulsive Behaviour is a solution to a problem rather than the problem in itself. My therapeutic approach is to look holistically and your experiences in life. This helps to understand the root causes of your addiction or compulsive behaviour and develop healthier coping mechanisms, and create a sustainable recovery plan. We work together to address both the psychological and emotional aspects of addiction.
I have specific qualification working with addiction and compulsive behaviour along with a lot of experience helping others with this. I have lived experience of addiction which helps form my approach to helping you. To find out more you can read about porn addiction therapy here
; if compulsive sex is part of what you need help with, counselling for sex addiction can be found here
